"Star Trek" by Playmates Toys

By 1995, Playmates had brought four different Star Trek series to toy aisles and covered most of the principle characters in their standard uniforms.  To mine the alternate uniforms and noteworthy secondary characters from nearly thirty years of the franchise, they consolidated everything into a comprehensive Star Trek line.  The idea was fine, though I always found the packaging aesthetic to be very generic; it consisted of just an empty starfield behind the figure's bubble, and to the right all the information about which character, series and version this was, along with a list of included accessories.
