One of the fun aspects of owning a Nintendo Wii is creating Mii versions of people. Your family and friends, yes, but also celebrities--real or fictitious. If your Wii is online with WiiConnect, then you can operate the Check Mii Out Channel. This channel offers two things for Miis--a series of contests in which you are asked to craft a Mii around a specific theme, and the Posting Plaza, where you can post whatever Miis you wish to post. You can review others's posted Miis, rate them and even download them to your own Wii. In many Nintendo produced games, Miis enter the gameplay, sometimes in the background, sometimes even as playable characters. I have crafted and posted many Miis, and I invite you to check them out, rate them and give me feedback. (Feedback comes to me here, not on the Wii.)
DIRECTIONS FOR SEARCHING FOR A MII
Make sure your Wii is connected to the internet and that you have downloaded the Check Mii Out software (if you haven't, you can get it from the Wii Shop free of charge)
Go into the Check Mii Out Channel
Select "Posting Plaza"
At the bottom of the screen that comes up, you'll see a smiley face next to the word "Popular." Click that bar.
At the bottom of the menu screen that comes up next, you'll see "Search." Click on that.
On the top of the next screen (I promise this isn't as complicated as it sounds!) you'll see "Set Conditions" and beside it will be an icon of two arrows chasing each other in a circle. You guessed it; click that.
The new screen will ask you to input an ID number for the Mii you're looking to find.
